Position Role Type:

Onsite

Performs a variety of maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and all other equipment in the facility. Duties involve machine repair, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.

  • Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.

  • Performs machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.

  • Provides support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.

  • Maintains all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed.

  • Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and simplistic facilities maintenance duties in company buildings and surrounding property; including painting, general repairs, furniture moves.

  • Maintaining and recommending spare parts.

  • Following and understanding all applicable policies and procedures.

  • Complies with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 3 years of relevant experience is required.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • 1+ years of industrial electrician work experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Industrial Electrician License

  • Overtime eligible.

  • May be standing for 8+ hours and may be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.

  • Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic equipment experience.

  • The ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.

  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens, and learning new software programs.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • The ability to effectively work with and take direction from more experienced coworkers, supervisors and production managers.
