Aerotek Welder in Moody, Alabama
Description
This person will be working on the assembly machines, welding, and will also be doing basic mechanical type tasks as well. They will be doing assembly of large vacuum pump parts, as well as welding the various parts together. They will be doing MIG, TIG and Stick welding on stainless steel. Majority of their welding is flux-core welding (MIG), but they also do SMAW (Stick). There is a lot of high nickel welding of metal parts to cast iron components but also a lot of 304 stainless steel welding to cast iron parts and stainless steel parts.
No certs, medical requirements or PPE is required, other than steel toed boots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
This person must have a strong welding background, as well as must be able to weld MIG and stick welding on stainless steel. Also, the background will need to be in the same areas as above in the job description.
Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
Must have at least 2-3 years' experience in welding and millwright/mechanical background.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
