Job Profile Title: Facilities Engineer

Location/Division Specific Information – Monument CO

How will you make an impact? - This position serves as a single point of accountability and is responsible for delivering quality, safe, compliant and productive facility installations and services with a high touch customer service orientation. Responsible for delivering facilities and utilities maintenance and operation, infrastructure management, energy management and cost improvement initiatives, soft services external facilities service contracts.

What will you do?-

  • Ensure efficient delivery of site services, maintenance and utilities operations, compliance of classified production systems, security, project delivery, move services and all facilities operations.

  • Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects.

  • Interface with business units and contractors during planning and construction, assess contractor's work risks, and establish permit to work

  • Keeps standard operational procedures updated and assures strict compliance to them. Acts as Facilities subject matter expert for: area improvements, deviations evaluations, regulatory audits, and capital justification.

  • Serve as primary site liaison for Facilities Quality and EHS compliance

  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, Environmental Health and Safety and other regulations. Represent Facilities in related audits

  • Support Energy/Sustainability initiatives and infrastructure management programs

  • Support implementation MD Global Facilities strategies and initiatives at the site; establish a high performance and continuous improvement culture driven by key performance metrics, benchmarking and sharing of best practices

How will you get here? -

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • Waste Water, Electrician, HVAC and Fire Alarm Systems Certifications are highly recommended

    Experience: 

  • Experience in project management and coordination

  • Experience in EHS and quality assurance

  • Experience in regulatory manufacturing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Willingness to take responsibility/reliability

  • Ability work independently with minimal guidance

  • Comfortable with Customer interface

  • Ability to lift, move and conduct large Physical activities, as needed on a weekly basis

  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled or non-clean room environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3- 5+ years of relevant experience and additional training is preferred

  • Training or knowledge in Commercial Design/ Building is preferred

The pay range for this role is $65,507 - $117,913. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: July 31, 2024.
