Aerotek Maintenance Engineer in Montrose, Colorado

HIRING MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS IN RIDGWAY, CO

The job location is on a few acres of property. The work environment is desolate and remote, with a necessity for comfort in an outdoors environment. The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Lead Tech and will be one of two staff members on location.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)

Qualifications:

  • Must have commercial building maintenance/repair experience

  • Experience with heavier HVAC units, such as 40-ton chiller units, mechanical AV's, and cassettes with separate condensers, is a plus*

  • Any refrigeration experience, specifically with walk-in coolers and freezers (changing out coils and fans), is a plus*

  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, dry wall, and HVAC

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking qualified Maintenance Engineers for a unique role in the hospitality industry.

  • This opportunity is located in Ridgway, CO.

  • The facility spans a total of 80,000 square feet, including two industrial garages which are 20,000 square feet each.

  • Minor plumbing tasks such as; cleaning and unclogging toilets, changing sink aerators, and replacing valves

  • Electrical tasks include; changing and installing various types of lights

  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems is required to handle tasks like changing belts, motors, filters, and greasing

  • Dry wall, patch, and paint tasks
