Norshield Security Products is a leading manufacturer of security doors, windows, and exterior facade systems for a wide range of government and commercial clients. Our 100,000 sf manufacturing facility in Montgomery, AL produces products in steel, stainless steel and aluminum to protect people, property and assets from threat of ballistic, forced entry and explosive attacks.

We are seeking an experienced stockroom clerk to handle multiple functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Pick and pack orders for internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries
• Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control to reorder low stock
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, noting discrepancies and damages, and report findings to the appropriate personnel
• Organize and maintain the stockroom layout for efficient storage and retrieval of items, always ensuring cleanliness and orderliness

Experience

• Prior experience in inventory management, warehousing or related field
• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or merchandise as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with coworkers and superiors
