Carpenter Apprentice

Are you passionate about the idea of building things with your own hands? We are looking for a Carpenter Apprentice. This position is designed to take your skills to the next level. You will use many different tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. Carpenter's apprentices commonly use hand tools, including squares, levels, and chisels, as well as many power tools, such as sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $13 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Carpenter Apprentice:

• Working with metal and wood framing and roof truss components

• Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework

• Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings

• Helping place and secure wood during the building process

• Willingness to learn skills in framing, trim work, and finishing work

Available shifts:

Shift timings - All Available

Job requirements:

• Basic labor and construction knowledge

• Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division 

• OSHA 10 preferred - please contact your local branch about how we can provide you with OSHA training

• Able to withstand varying inside and/or outside temperatures

Able to lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload metal and other materials as well as carry needed tools to and from the jobsite
