Job Description
We are looking for an Account Manager to operate as a primary point of contact for agency users and our partner SOW vendors, ensuring the delivery of services for fixed price, deliverable-based projects via one of CAI’s MSP contracts. This is a full-time, hybrid position working with our clients in the Montgomery, Alabama area.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for agency users and vendors within the SOW MSP program, providing exceptional service, managing expectations, and supporting agency users in scoping and preparing the necessary information needed to effectively solicit proposals geared to successfully deliver client project initiatives.
Facilitate all procurement activities throughout SOW lifecycle (release Statement of Requirements (SOR) documentation, facilitate pre-bid calls, vendor Q&A, vendor orals, negotiations, on-boarding tasks, etc.)
Configure and maintain the Vendor Management System (VMS) to support workflow processes and enhance functionality
Ensure strict compliance with SOW lifecycle processes by both agency users and SOW vendors
Design and implement comprehensive transformation strategies to streamline and improve MSP SOW processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor invoicing and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Collaborate with client and vendor staff, fostering successful outcomes based on strong relationships and clear communication
Monitor service delivery against contractual milestone obligations; assist with change orders when necessary, and ensure timely invoicing and payment of milestones
Create, maintain, and deliver reports to both internal and client users reflecting the status of all SOW engagements – from release, to execution, to closeout
Create and maintain Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documentation outlining the SOW program’s processes
Identify, communicate, and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner
Deliver Vendor Management System (VMS) training and provide ongoing daily support to clients specifically for SOWs
Provide vendor response management, training, and performance oversight services specific to the SOW program
Manage SOW services to contractual service level agreements (SLAs)
What You'll Need
Required:
5+ years of experience in contract/vendor management
5+ years’ experience working within the IT Staffing or Consulting industry
10+ years of direct interfacing experience with client and/or vendor staff, and strong client relationship building skills
5+ years of experience working within the Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) industry, preferably managing a contingent labor program
Experience successfully transforming business processes to enhance efficiency, boost productivity, and drive innovation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects and priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset focused on process improvement
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
Public Sector experience, preferably with the State of Alabama
Proficiency in using Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and other related software
Experience with VectorVMS is preferred but experience with other VMS systems is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
