Naval Education and Training Command HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Monterey, California
Summary You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of INFOWARTRACMD MONTEREY CA. Responsibilities You will Perform housing program management and administrative duties related to assignment and termination of Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ). You will assign incoming personnel to determine housing requirements, assigns barracks space and conducts physical inventory for transfer/acceptance of room. You will develop short-term plan for maintenance of BEQ to identify deficiencies requiring renovation, modernization or other-corrections and improvements. You will perform duties as Hand-Receipt Holder/Property Manager for accountable/property book items used in BEQ operations; duties include cyclic partial inventories, semi-annual and annual inventories, and acquisition/disposal of items. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining inventory control of all permanent Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) assets and distribution of living spaces; 2) Conducting inspections , audits and surveys to identify housing project deficiencies; 3) Purchasing consumables and equipment necessary for housing operations/cleanliness/ adherence to standards; 4) Applying applicable federal, command, and local policy to housing management (i.e. assignment, inspections, maintenance, cleanliness, etc.).
