POSITION DUTIES:Set technical vision for the company, overseeing technical architecture, product roadmap, release strategy, cybersecurity strategy, and compliance of the technology with industry standards (NIST, PCI-DSS, FFI); Ensure technology, IT and finance resources are aligned with ezTaxReturn’s needs.; Rapidly learn new technologies and systems to solve problems and set technical direction for the company.; Review designs for distributed systems including load balancers, queues, database replication (with eventual consistency), and multithreading along with impacts to RTO and RPO.; Ensure ezTaxReturn delivers a high-quality tax-filing experience to our customers, in time for the tax filing season across all jurisdictions we support in the US.; Oversee financial aspects of the company including budgeting, audited financials, debt covenant compliance, structuring the balance sheet, and vendor contract negotiations. REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field AND a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; plus two (2) years of experience required in the following: -SQL-Excel-ETL-Python NumPy and Pandas-Tableau -PowerBI -Dashboard and analytics tools-Financial modeling -Venture capital investments -Database design -Cloud computing and architecture -Reviewing designs for distributed systems -Machine learning models-Automated testing and load testing RATE OF PAY:$200,000 per year JOB LOCATION:26 Park Street, Suite 2000, Desk Cubicle #3, Montclair, NJ 07042. This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
