JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Supply Chain Logistics & Compliance Internship will begin in January and end in August 2025. What You\'ll Do & Learn You will assist in the development, implementation, and management of Global Supply Chain Inbound Logistics and Compliance activities. You\'ll collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all US and designated international Import and Export Laws and Regulations. In addition, you\'ll be responsible for: Coordinating and tracking the movement of products from domestic and international supplier locations into a Colony Brands receiving/distribution facility. Collaborating with Customs Brokers, third-party classification companies, Quality Assurance, Global Sourcing, and the Trade Compliance Manager to determine the correct tariff classification. Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Corporate Vendor Discrepancy Program for the company. Supporting the team to effectively manage the Corporate Certificate of Insurance Program for the company. Assisting with developing and over-seeing the day-to-day transportation department activities for the Corporate Fleet Coordinating the utilization of Third Party Outside Warehousing (both dry and temperature-controlled storage). Assisting in preparing management reports and completes analysis of transportation related activities to identify new strategies to reduce costs and/or increase service and quality. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented student pursuing an associate or bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Ideally you will have taken courses related to logistics of business, business law, purchasing and imports, and traffic management. In addition, we are looking for: At least Junior standing, recent graduates may be considered Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex tasks and projects Prior leadership experience Strong problem solving and reasoning skills Basic knowledge of: o Transportation and logistics functions (i.e., pool distribution, small package, truckload, intermodal, LTL services, import transportation, etc.) o US Customs and Compliance (US DOT Regulations, OGA Regulations, etc.) This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI for the duration of your internship.
