Our client, In located in Monroe, is hiring Sanitation workers to work on 1st shift.

This is a temporary position scheduled to last two weeks at this time paying $19.00 per hour.

The shift would be Monday to Friday, with the start time between 9-10am and end time between 5-6 pm.

What’s the Job?

• Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas.

• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.

• General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick up and use of compactor.

• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.

• Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to work in ambient, refrigerated or freezer environment for long periods of time

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, as well as write short correspondence and memos

• Strong written & oral communication skills

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

• High School Diploma/GED Or Equivalent

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience

• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
