Deceuninck North America, LLC Human Resources Generalist in Monroe, Ohio

Deceuninck North America is seeking an HR Generalist for its Monroe, OH headquarters.  The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing support to the HR department in various areas including business partner support, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Core Responsibilities
  • Administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, standards and government regulations.

  • Conduct new employee orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding of Company programs, procedures and policies.

  • Provide support to employees on HR-related issues including benefits, policies, and procedures

  • Assist with performance management processes including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching

  • Support HR Manager in the administration and oversight of wage and salary programs to include hourly and/or merit planning, job descriptions, performance reviews and organization charts.

    Maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and conduct self-audit reports to help assure data integrity.  

    Manage employee relations issues, perform timely investigations into employee relations concerns, compile investigation summaries and report findings to appropriate stakeholders

  • Provide guidance to managers on employee discipline and termination

  • Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, changes, and terminations

  • Must be progressive and strategic with respect to HR processes and systems, creating a climate for change. Use influence in the organization to positively impact change.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations

  • Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Human Resources Generalist in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience performing investigations into employee relations concerns. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of HRIS Systems; experience with Paycor HCM is a differentiator
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels in the division with the ability to manage conflict when appropriate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, insight into group dynamics, high tolerance for ambiguity and change are essential. Must be self-directed, flexible and able to prioritize work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in U.S.
