Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Daily responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position repairing fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances and office equipment. Will be responsible for inspecting assigned areas on a routine basis and performing minor maintenance as needed to keep facility in a functioning condition.

Troubleshoot equipment, adjusting as necessary for maximum

operating efficiency.

Replace/repair motors, gear boxes, drive units and all other

packaging equipment components as required.

Monitor equipment performance and report any inefficiencies

caused by equipment or materials used.

Packaging equipment changeovers for different size

containers or components

Maintain assigned records or downtime logs of equipment

malfunction or component parts used by repair.

Comply with good manufacturing practices, safety and audits

standards.

Work independently under limited supervision.
