Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Monroe, North Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in Monroe, North Carolina, United States for the role of a Contract Administrator II. This role is centered within the aerospace industry and will serve as the main point of contact for contract-related matters. The successful candidate will collaborate with a range of departments and stakeholders, including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and nurture cooperative relationships with government and commercial customers, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms and conditions, company policies, and financial objectives for successful contract execution.

• Manage the contractual relationship with a large aerospace manufacturer, handling tasks such as obtaining quote approvals and resolving overdue accounts receivable issues.

• Ensure the accurate dissemination of contractual obligations and requirements to all relevant parties.

• Work in conjunction with International Trade Compliance to guarantee adherence to all import/export regulations.

• Support internal financial goals which may include milestones, progress payments, payment terms, and cash collection among others.

• Coordinate hardware demand with the customer and demand management team, ensuring a smooth supply chain logistics process.

• Utilize skills such as Customer Service, Microsoft Excel, Training, Operations, Compliance, Payment Processing, Cash Activity, Finance, Leadership Skills, Collection Processes, Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks, Regulation, Progress, Microsoft PowerPoint, Engineering, Financial Notes, Purchase Orders, Suppliers, Specification, Company Policy, Ensure Compliance, Supply Chain Logistics, Agreement, Computer Hardware, and Program Management to perform the role effectively. Requirements • Proficient in customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to manage client queries and concerns effectively

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, capable of handling complex data analysis tasks

• Experience in providing training to team members, improving overall team performance

• Understanding of operations management, with a focus on optimizing efficiency

• Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards within the industry

• Ability to handle payment processing and cash activity tasks accurately and promptly

• Familiarity with finance principles and practices

• Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading a team

• Experience with collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required by the business

• In-depth understanding of industry regulations and ability to ensure adherence to these regulations

• Proven ability to drive progress and achieve business goals

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of creating impactful presentations

• Knowledge of engineering principles, especially as they apply to the industry

• Experience in handling financial notes and ensuring their accurate recording

• Experience with purchase orders, from creation to completion

• Ability to manage relationships with suppliers effectively

• Knowledge of specification management, ensuring products meet required specifications

• Understanding of company policy and ability to ensure its adherence across the team

• Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Familiarity with supply chain logistics, capable of managing supply chain effectively

• Experience in drafting and managing agreements

• Knowledge of computer hardware, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintenance
