Job Title: Team Lead ll
Location: 77 Deans Rhode Hall Rd, Monmouth Junction, Nj 08852
Shift: (Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 3:00 pm)
Position Overview/ Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of assigned area with particular emphasis on managing assembly execution, warehouse associates and temporary employees and implementing assembly and inventory plans.
What we are looking for:
High School diploma or GED
Must have responsible work habits and good judgment and decision-making ability, self-motivated and detail oriented individual.
Ability to obtain L'Oréal forklift certification.
RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Haz Mat Training
Nice to have:
2 years of experience in an order processing environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and RF scanning equipment.
Haz Mat and Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs
Walking frequently, stand for prolong periods of time and bend occasionally
Must be able to be flexible to train in multiple areas.
Working Conditions:
First Shift Mon-Fri, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
Overtime can be expected during peak seasons based on business needs
Personal protective equipment required including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes and vest; other equipment provided dependent upon role
Close to moderate supervision required for this position
Able to bend, twist and lift up to 35lbs using proper lifting techniques

What You Will Learn:
Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of assigned area with particular emphasis on managing assembly execution, warehouse associates and temporary employees and implementing assembly and inventory plans.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Labor Management
Provide direct daily supervision of warehouse associates and temporary employees to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the assembly area and warehouse
Develop and implement work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operation
Apply sound communication and motivation techniques in directing staff
Create and maintain professional relationship with Temporary Help Agency
Schedule temporary labor based off production schedule
Organize and perform all necessary training to ensure the quality of production
Operation
Direct and supervise all inbound and outbound flows of finished goods and assembly to ensure the team is performing the processes correct and in a timely fashion
Tour the work areas regularly to answer questions, evaluate operations and solve problems
Make recommendations to the Supervisor and Director of Assembly (Promotional Operations) on programs to improve operations
Identify and track process improvement opportunities in an effort to improve quality and/or productivity
Perform special projects/tasks as assigned
Equipment
Allocate equipment so that it is utilized in the most efficient manner
Must be certified to drive a forklift to facilitate movement of WIPs in to assembly area
Communication
Interact with other departmental management to achieve goals
Attend warehouse planning meetings as needed/applicable
Communicate with production supervisor and operations director for daily operations plan
Conduct daily pre-shift start up meeting with full time and temporary labor
Timely communication with other departments/leads in case of delays/issues
Documentation/ Reporting
Ensure that all records and reports regarding assembly activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained
Review operating goals and standards and monitor achievement
Ensure that giftset/sample/re-work Quality conforms to the brand expectations
Ensure accuracy of operation process before final confirmation of pallets
Escalate case labeling, integrity, sealing concerns, inventory discrepancies to the appropriate departments for final correction
Safety, Sanitation, Security
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and adhere to safety and housekeeping regulations to ensure damage to product, equipment and the facility is prevented
Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed to prevent near misses
Operate in compliance with OSHA, L'Oréal EHS and other appropriate standards
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Assist in achieving the KPIs across assigned area
