We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst in the vibrant location of Monclova, OH. This role primarily revolves around accounting analysis, accounting, and maintaining the balance sheet for our highly active workplace. The role is a crucial part of our team, playing a significant role in ensuring the financial stability and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed journal entry and analysis of balance sheet and income statement account activity

• Execute balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Prepare draft financial reports for review and finalization

• Assist in physical inventory management, which may require some travel

• Analyze and adjust price variances as necessary

• Communicate effectively with material vendors for smooth operations

• Perform various inventory adjustments and analysis to maintain accurate records

• Provide backup to other Accounting Functions as needed

• Produce daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting as necessary

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis

• Execute General Ledger and Journal Entries tasks efficiently

• Participate in Budget Processes and provide necessary inputs.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrable experience with accounting functions

• Familiarity with budget processes

• Experience in making journal entries

• Knowledge of general ledger management

• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field is required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
