ATI is seeking to hire a Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist to support our Specialty Rolled Products business. This position will support operations located in Monaca, Rochester and Zelienople. The position will be based onsite in Monaca, PA - in the Pittsburgh metro-region.

This position will focus on achieving all established business objectives by driving Continuous Improvement, improving quality performance, eliminating process waste, improving process efficiency and increasing the skills and engagement of all employees. This will be achieved by frequent use of lean manufacturing tools, including but not limited to: Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Quality, Problem Solving, 5S, Material Flow, SMED, Visual Workplace, TPM, etc.

Essential Functions

• Participating as a member of the leadership team in the deployment of the ATI Continuous Improvement strategy, including the ATI FRP Quality System to integrate initiatives into an overall comprehensive corporate strategy.

• Working with plant leadership to set up cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts between operations, technical, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.

• Establish and expand upon Daily Management Systems in MRZ facilities.

• Identifying and solving problems to root cause through application of Continuous Improvement methodologies to solve the problem and train those working on the initiative.

• Leading project development, implementation and review to enable continuous improvement in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

• Conducting, completing, and standardizing process optimizations, through process control and control plans to achieve significant and sustainable improvements in processes and quality.

• Collaborating with CI resources to ensure best practices are shared across the organization.

• Designing, executing, and summarizing designed experiments while also collecting, organizing, and summarizing process and experimental data.

• Assisting or leading training sessions for all levels of company employees.
