Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions using Java, JavaScript, NodeJS and RESTful APIs with database design, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (3 yrs); Developing applications using AWS services (ECS, RDS, EC2, EB, S3, SQS, Lambda etc.) (2 yrs); Hands-on experience using DevOps tools such as github actions, terraform, docker, splunk (2 yrs); Experience with highly customized Container as a Service using Kubernetes (2 yrs); Proven experience in application security, secure coding practices, data privacy, and security architecture (2 yrs); experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment with Test Driven Development (TDD) (1 yr). Up to 15 % remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 10% international and domestic travel required.
