We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales Project Management Intern to join our team for the summer 2025 season. This internship provides hands-on experience at the intersection of sales and engineering, allowing you to work closely with both technical and commercial teams to drive successful project execution in the automotive OEM manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles and an interest in sales and project management.

As a Sales Project Management Intern, you will assist in managing technical sales projects, coordinate with engineering teams to provide tailored solutions for customers and help ensure the smooth delivery of products. You’ll gain exposure to project management practices, customer engagement, and technical sales processes, preparing you for a career in technical sales or engineering management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing technical sales projects from proposal to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.

  • Support the sales team with technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to help develop technical solutions based on customer requirements.

  • Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines for potential projects.

  • Participate in client meetings to understand technical needs and propose engineering-based solutions.

  • Help track project performance and monitor key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, and operations) to ensure effective project coordination.

  • Provide assistance in addressing technical inquiries from customers, ensuring clarity and timely communication.

  • Assist with documentation, including project plans, technical reports, and status updates for both internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field), Business with a technical focus, or a related discipline.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and interest in technical sales or project management.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
