We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dynamic and inclusive team. This pivotal role is designed for a dedicated individual ready to take on the challenge of maintaining and enhancing our refrigeration systems and equipment, including condensing units, compressors, and evaporators. As a full-time position, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing significantly to our success.

Your daily responsibilities will include the installation, servicing, and repair of our refrigeration systems, where precision and safety are paramount. You will connect refrigeration lines to electrical power sources, manage hazardous refrigerants, and diligently check systems for leaks. Your expertise in making precise welds on equipment will be highly valued, as will your commitment to conducting thorough investigations to correct any malfunctions.

The ideal candidate is not just a mechanic but a problem solver who can replace and repair defective machine parts and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of systems including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and glycol systems. Your ability to troubleshoot VFDs and PLCs, fabricate parts, and navigate HMIs will set you apart. Moreover, your adherence to safety protocols, especially proper lock-out/tag-out procedures, will ensure a safe working environment for all.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

• Required to be 18 years of age or older.

• Required to work any shift.

• Required to comply with company GMP policies.

• Required to work overtime if necessary.

• Required to lift and move up to 70 pounds frequently.

• Performs assigned jobs with minimum direction and supervision.

• 2 years of maintenance experience and skilled in repair and troubleshooting mechanical systems or ammonia refrigeration equipment.

• Communicates ideas clearly and articulately.

• Required to successfully complete assessment.

• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $38.18 / hourly

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
