Description

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our forward-thinking and collaborative finance team. This role involves managing our company's accounts payable to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations, process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare for payment invoices, and verify these are correct and have been authorized, according to established procedures.

• Attention to detail in the preparation and issue of all payments.

• Reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Ledger against supplier statements.

• Maintain supplier files, including updating information and responding to inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

• Assist in monthly and annual financial closings.

• Coordinate with internal departments and liaise with vendors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within your industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
