Job Title: Quality Inspector (Mechanical and/or Avionics Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Quality Inspectors with a history in mechanical and/or avionics to join our team. You will be responsible for executing and confirming quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on aircraft structures. Your role will ensure compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and certification standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operation.

  • Prepare and perform visual, incoming, first article, and final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design specifications, customer, and certification requirements.

  • Document technical inspections performed in SAP-based production orders and relevant IT systems by inspection marks and complete other aircraft documents as well as prepare first article inspection reports.

  • Support troubleshooting and participate in Quality Survey requests.

  • Compile all technical data of non-conformance to launch SAP-based quality discrepancy sheets for professional assessment in accordance with manufacturing engineering documentation.

  • Document all results of technical inspections in the SAP-based IT system.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in quality inspection and/or quality assurance in aviation.

  • Experience utilizing inspection tooling such as step gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.

  • Competent computer skills (ability to utilize programs such as MS Office).

  • Ability to perform quality and inspection tasks such as function checks, flight checks, and pressure checks on hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Aircraft MRO or Manufacturing experience will be considered.

  • Both Fixed and Rotary Wing platform experience will be considered.

  • A&P License is nice to have but NOT required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.50/hr.
