Creative Traffic Manager
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To work with marcomm team members and the marcomm creative team to properly allocate and plan creative resources to ensure delivery timelines are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet with marcomm team members to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the creative team and provide estimated availability for creative resources.
Maintain a pipeline of all creative projects along with due dates and assigned resource(s).
Assign new creative projects to designers and define due dates based on priorities.
Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities and communicate to appropriate stakeholders.
Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into each designer.
Provide concise, accurate and deadline-driven information to appropriate marcomm stakeholders for a clear understanding of creative resource availability and expected delivery timelines.
Understand people and instinctively know when to push and when to let things simmer in order to keep resources on track.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Travels as required.
- Five (5) years of marketing or project management experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to know instinctively when to push and when to let things simmer as they work to keep resources on track.
The ability to write clearly, concisely, quickly, and effectively.
Highly PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and general online project management software (Wrike).
Strong project management skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
