Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grain Storage Bin Cleaner. The primary responsibility of this role is to scrub and sanitize grain storage bins, ensuring they are free from dirt, dust, and debris. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and the ability to perform thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks

Responsibilities:

• Clean grain storage bins by scrubbing and sanitizing all interior surfaces.

• Remove dirt, dust, and debris from bins to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

• Inspect bins for structural integrity and identify any necessary repairs.

• Perform basic repair tasks to maintain the bins in good working condition.

• Operate power washing and vacuuming equipment to conduct deep cleaning of bins.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of all cleaning equipment.

• Apply antimicrobial and pest control solutions as a final cleaning step to ensure bins are sanitized and pest-free.

Requirements:

• Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and platforms.

• Adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Basic mechanical skills for operating and maintaining power cleaning equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.

• Comfort and capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Preparedness to handle the physical demands of outdoor labor.

• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred.

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures and equipment.

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
