The Rusty Razor is seeking a skilled and passionate stylist with expertise in utilizing hair clippers to create exceptional haircuts for our clientele. If you have an eye for detail, a creative touch, and a strong knowledge of grooming trends, this position is ideal for you. As a stylist you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts primarily using clippers while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform consultations with clients to understand their hairstyle preference, hair types, and desired outcomes.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients precise and well-blended haircuts, including fades, tapers, buzz cuts, and other popular mens haircuts.
• Perform grooming services such as trimming and shaping facial hair, including beards and mustaches.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Developing strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, actively listening to their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the final product.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise and proficiency as a stylist specializing in various haircuts, clipper techniques, styling, beard shaping and maintenance.
• Cosmetology Licensed.
• SD Tax License.

Compensation TBD upon experience and negotiated upon an in-person interview. Hours of operation: Tuesday: 9am-7pm Wednesday - Friday: 9am-5pm.
