About this Role

Will be running a 4 man crew that has a skid steer and dump trailer and will be going around picking up trash and old poles and wire and anything else left over from the storm.

What You'll Do

The following, along with the tasks listed in the previous steps, is a list of the kind of tasks the Apprentice step six should be engaged in and learning while on the job.

• Troubleshooting lines and equipment.

• Working within substations.

• Taking and releasing clearances (under Foreman supervision).

• Communicating with dispatchers (under Foreman supervision).

• Taking switching orders, field switching, and tagging (under Foreman supervision).

• Pad Mounted Transformers and Switchgear

• Cable Splicing 1

• Cable Splicing 2
