Job Description: As the runner/expo, you are the lynch pin between the kitchen and guests, you'll be in constant motion ensuring plates are finished in the kitchen and food is delivered quickly and accurately to guests. You'll describe the food being presented and handle or communicate guest requests as they come up.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner upon their arrival.
• Escorts guests to a table, balancing the customer flow among the stations, taking into accountrequests for a particular table or server, depending upon availability.
• Answers telephone, taking reservations and responding to questions.
• Assists with the duties of bus persons, resetting a table for reuse, etc. as the customer flow allows, to ensure efficiency.
• Prepares and prints daily menu.
• Functions as a supportive team member during the course oftheir shift.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with guests and co-workers

• Interacts with every guest in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
• Functions as a "sales person" by having a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage products. Informs guests of specials and menu changes, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and beverages.
• Processes guests' orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Communicates with host/hostess, bus persons, kitchen staff, and bartender, and coordinates entire station to ensure guest satisfaction with food and service.
• Completes all opening, closing and side work tasks thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts, promotions, and tip reporting in P.O.S. system according to company cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with guests and co-workers.
• Functions as a supportive team member during the course oftheir shift.
• Position requires regular, reliable attendance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiasticand outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondenceand policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers

Requirements

Runner / ExpoRequirements :

• TABC License
• Food Handler's License
