VILLAGE OF MISENHEIMER Police Officer in Misenheimer, North Carolina
Are you looking for a unique and rewarding career? The Village of Misenheimer Police Department is hiring both full-time and part-time officers to fill its ranks. We are a small community and a small department with a big vision for our future. The jurisdiction of the Village is just under two square miles. The department consists of our Chief, four full-time officers, two part-time officers and two reserve officers. We utilize a 2-2-3 schedule with shift changes happening at 5am and 5pm. We currently have permanent day or night shift spots available. In addition to serving the citizens of the Village, we provide security services for Pfeiffer University and also house Gray Stone Day School in our jurisdiction. Daily activities consist of security checks around the campus and the Village, conducting traffic enforcement/patrol activities, answering calls for service and being visible to deter potential crime. We are looking for officers that will promote a safe environment and abide by our community-based policing philosophy. Ideal candidates will possess North Carolina basic law enforcement training certification and be of good moral character. - Salary: 46,762.80 - 50,296.80
