Job Description

This position is responsible for the Veolia Water Technologies Solutions, Minnetonka, MN manufacturing site's Maintenance vision, strategy and execution. The Facility & Maintenance Manager will work to establish a world-class maintenance organization with superior asset reliability and uptime to enable a safer, more profitable and increasingly more competitive manufacturing site. By proactively pursuing improvement opportunities, making data-based decisions, establishing measurable and repeatable performance to maximize effective use of assets and assist the business in meeting agreed production, cost and improvement targets in a sustainable manner the individual in this role will help drive operational excellence. Will work in close partnership with the Reliability Engineer/Manager to execute an asset reliability program.

Core Maintenance responsibilities:

• Drive safety first by setting the example and driving preventative measures

• Oversee team member training completion and compliance

Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area

• Manage all follow-up post-incident actions; including incident investigations, leading learning

teams and site reporting

• Develop and lead a site Vision & Mission for Maintenance with partnership of the operational

teams

Execute a world-class, preventive/predictive maintenance framework and best-practices

sitewide

• Foster a partnership culture with the operations teams focused on serving the site operations,

implementing sustainable improvements to maximize machine uptime/Overall Equipment

Efficiency and continuous improvement of maintenance practices and fundamentals

• Maximize the maintenance teams' operating efficiency, trouble-shooting, root-cause

investigation, countermeasure implementation, preventive/predictive maintenance activities

while contributing to internal projects as well

• Plan timely execution of Preventative Maintenance with the Maintenance personnel.

Manage the site maintenance budget (planning and execution of Maintenance Operational Plan)

• Oversight of facility contract management (HVAC, lawn care, supply etc.)

• Provide coaching and leadership for the Facility & Maintenance organization of about 20 +

people

• Establish and drive maintenance KPIs: Daily & Weekly schedule compliance, Preventive &

Predictive Maintenance schedule compliance, backlog, wrench time/utilization, overtime,

MTBF/MTTR, etc

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (manufacturing or engineering discipline) or equitable experience

• Min. 8+ years of hands-on operational leadership experience/leading a team and executing

maintenance initiatives.

Desired Qualifications (a plus but not necessary)

• TPM, Reliability Center Maintenance experience

• Capital planning experience

• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience

• Experience in Maximo and SAP
