Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities (UGMTC) is hiring an experienced Teacher's Assistant to float between classrooms at our Child Development Center (CDC). You can make a difference! We seek an assistant teacher who will share the love of Jesus by nurturing young children and meeting their needs with compassion and care. The Child Development Center is an early learning center for children ages 6 weeks to kindergarten. We care for children from our women s program as well as the surrounding community. The women we serve are making progress toward healing and have a high potential for growth, especially when their children receive excellent care. Our staff have a life-changing impact on the children under their care by providing them with a safe, loving environment and teaching them new skills. Licensed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Child Development Center fosters curiosity, creativity, independence, and self-esteem using a developmentally appropriate curriculum that enhances spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in young children.
