Job Summary: The primary objective of Youth Workforce Coach position is to implement and lead groups and services offered within youth programming. The Youth Workforce Coach will provide case management services, educational pathways, and employment services to a caseload of program participants in the North 4 Program and other WIOA funded programs. The Youth Workforce Coach will also contribute to a high-quality youth continuum of employment and education services in conjunction with the Agency s vision, mission, and strategies around programming for youth and young adults ages 14 30 years. III. Core Job Functions: The Youth Workforce Coach performs a wide range of duties including but not limited to the following: A. Work Readiness & Job Placement (Private Sector), Advocacy and Referrals Provide work readiness and job placement services for out of school youth and young adults, by conducting informational sessions, intakes & assessments; identifying barriers and developing goals; developing education pathways and employment opportunities and providing resources, supports, referrals and other services. B. Recruitment/Orientation Recruit and orient interested out of school youth to the North 4, WIOA and other youth programs and services and coordinate the enrollment process. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other youth-serving agencies. * C. Educational Support Develop and implement activities, workshops and other supports that ensure out of school youth are referred to get enrolled in high school/GED program, are on a path to graduate and remain focused on becoming college and/or job ready. Partner with Financial Wellness team to develop financial literacy and wellness workshops and programming for youth. D. Data, Reporting and Evaluation Ensure all data entry requirements are met in a timely manner by utilizing multiple database systems to maintain accurate and up to date case files, Individual Employment/Education or Service Plans, assessments, job placement and retention information, progress notes and other information as required. Assist in conduct internship and site evaluations which involve youth and site supervisors and parent feedback where appropriate. E. Internship & On the Job Training Coordination Partner with Youth Program Coordinator, site supervisors, other Youth team members and youth to ensure that all required employment and program documentation and data entry is completed accurately and in a timely manner. F. Special Projects Coordinate and participate in program promotion and outreach activities and events. * Perform any other tasks and duties necessary in order for the agency to meet its mission.
