Horizontal Talent Test Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products through comprehensive testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute master test plans, test cases, and schedules across various development projects
Conduct functionality, user interface, regression, security, and user acceptance tests
Document test scripts and plans tied back to requirements
Identify, track, and report defects, issues, risks, and action items
Validate requirements for system testing, prepare reports, record defects, and track them
Perform regression testing to validate the resolution of software or system defects
Provide input for program schedules and develop use cases
As an Integration Test Engineer, you will also be responsible for:
Developing test plans, test cases, and project schedules for the Integration test environment
Executing test cases/scenarios across numerous project platforms
Conducting functionality, user interface, regression, connectivity, performance, load, stress, user acceptance, failover/recovery, and supportability tests
Developing and updating integration test plans and procedures
Validating requirements for integration testing, preparing reports, recording, and tracking defects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
2-6 years of experience in an IT testing environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of integrity and trust
Strong teamwork skills, with a commitment to supporting your team and mentoring when necessary
Technical expertise, with a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional areas
Dedication to accomplishing goals and tasks
Flexibility and adaptability in the face of change
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a diverse range of individuals
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems
