Robert Half Supply Chain Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

We are partnering with a growing Food Processing company in the Minneapolis area who is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist on a contract to hire basis. A successful candidate will have a positive attitude, no task too small mentality, and be excited to join a small company that is on the grow! This role sits within Supply Chain and will have a heavy focus on customer service and order fulfillment. Newer to your career? Not a problem! Our client is open to candidates who are light on experience, as long as you have some prior customer service experience and a great attitude!

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage and optimize supply chain processes

• Maintain strong communications with suppliers, manufacturers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of goods

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to supply chain processes

• Conduct invoice processing and ensure accurate record-keeping of all supply chain transactions

• Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement strategies for improving supply chain efficiency

• Regularly review and analyze supply chain data to identify potential areas of improvement

• Support logistics operations including planning, scheduling, and tracking of shipments

• Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may disrupt the supply chain process.

Requirements • Proficient in CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in customer service, preferably within the food and food processing industry

• Ability to handle and process invoices accurately and efficiently

• Solid understanding of logistics, ideally within a supply chain context

• Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines

• Good understanding of the food and food processing industry

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food industry

• Willingness to undergo continuous professional development.
