Overview

The goal of Mgr Customer Development – Space Intelligence is to be the indispensable trusted partner to our customer, driving alignment, and simplification across all three tiers. (Retailer, Supplier, & Distributor) The CDM will provide Insights & Analytics in support to our retail customers, suppliers and account teams and will assist in identifying opportunities and making recommendations that deliver category and customer growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support retailers and/or clients’ planogram (POG) development throughout defined category review process or client initiatives.

• Provide planogram (POG) information for clients, customers, and/or Customer Development Managers through the use of syndicated or customer-specific data sources.

• Prioritize optimal assortment and/or shelving information to support the goals of our clients, customers, and company.

• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems, and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.

• Communicate business opportunities and recommend action plans by working with customers, suppliers, and/or internal stakeholders

• Organize information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning Software (JDA/Blue Yonder)

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel & Power Point

• Proven ability to navigate and process large datasets to produce actionable insights

• High level understanding of Category Management processes and practices along with the ability to collaborate with retail customers, key suppliers and internal teams to deliver insights and recommendations within six key domains: Macro Level, Retailer & Market, Consumer, Shopper, 4 P’s (product, price, place, and promotion) of Category Management, and Operations

• Assertive leadership/decisions making skills and high energy level, with an aptitude for understanding changing market dynamics and resolving complex problems

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities

• Bachelor’s Degree and experience in Adult Beverage with understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail and Distributor operations

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

• Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
