Breakthru Beverage Group Senior Category Management Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Overview
The Senior Category Management Associate is responsible for developing and leading implementation of category management plans and programs with assigned business unit. This includes analyzing brand trends, creating shelf schematics, and implementing resets for key customers. Additionally, this role supports sales teams with key analytics and schematic recommendations that drive Company and Supplier goals.
Salary and Benefit Statement:
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
Salary Range: $46,200- $57,750+ $4,800 annual car allowance
This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
Responsibilities
Develop and present shelf schematics to key independent and chain accounts
Analyze brand trends, channel demographics, scan data and Nielsen data
Lead execution of store resets with key independent and chain accounts
Assist on sales calls for new and existing accounts for the purpose of shelf schematic proposals and market analysis
Prepare marketing and selling tools following data analysis
Attending educational training events for Sales and Category Management to stay abreast of changes
Assist with New Brand Introductions and Placement Suggestion
Assist with sales activation and market coverage where needed
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Category Management
Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
Analytic and Reporting skills
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
Occasional carrying, overhead reaching, and lifting of 45-60 pounds to perform various duties
Occasional squatting or bending to perform various duties
Occasional Climb Stairs
