Fujitsu Salesforce Solution Architect in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are looking for a highly effective Salesforce Solution Architect to join our Salesforce Practice.

This Salesforce Solution Architect role will be responsible to design and deliver multi-cloud solutions on the Salesforce Platform that deliver the optimal business value for the customer.

This includes the assessing viable solution options, providing industry best practices to clients, formulating, and presenting solution options to various levels of management, perform fit-gap analysis of customers current state with industry & Salesforce platform best practices, supporting project team in completion of various deliverables, and establishing trusted advisor status with customer’s business and technology stakeholders.

The person will lead and support the customer throughout the entire Salesforce implementation lifecycle, including analysis, requirements, design, development & deployments.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities: -

  • Customer Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between customer’s Business & IT teams and project team. Interact daily with business team to understand business processes, lead design workshops and document requirements.

  • Develop and delivery customer facing communication and content leveraging advanced skills in visual media such as the Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel).

  • Project & Solution Delivery:

  • Assess and perform solution architecture for client’s Salesforce Platform & integrated applications and Salesforce implementation to identify capability & solution gaps, provide guidance, propose solutions based on Salesforce best practices.

  • Gather, create and document current and future business process flows.

  • Document clear, concise, and complete detailed functional, non-functional and system interface requirements and user stories clearly stating project scope for Salesforce engagements.

  • Identify current solution & system gaps and present technical alternatives and supporting recommendations aligned with the client’s business and technology requirements.

  • Bring the functional/technical experience and knowledge to deliver solutions which allow clients to achieve their business strategy.

  • Prepare and analyse data conversion requirements.

  • Perform hands-on Salesforce application configuration & development, solution design, and architecture evaluation to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Create Salesforce system UI mock-ups using Salesforce platform best practices, perform PoCs and collaborate with customer and project teams.

  • Contribute to project operational planning activities like estimations and right skilled staffing.

  • Ensure delivery engagement success by defining project plans, project teams, communication schedules and milestones.

  • Manage project team members to design, build, test and implement Salesforce solutions. Identify and anticipate risks & issues and plan to resolve them with active involvement.

  • Ensure compliance with process, standards and practices are followed for delivery.

  • Manage Project budgets to ensure that additions to scope are fiscally managed prior to development.

  • Ongoing Project Reviews for completeness

  • Timecard & Invoice Compliance

  • Pre-Sales Support:

  • Support pre-sales activities by participating in solution assessment, estimations, creating pre-sales presentations for existing customers and new pursuits.

  • Support and perform product & solution demonstrations through configuration of demo environment and data creation during pre-sales.

  • Actively participate in activities related to practice building & resource upskilling.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders during the pursuit to establish and maintain our status as a trusted advisor.

  • Thought Leadership & Practice Development:

  • Contribute to go-to-market and internal initiatives which drive growth of the practice, drive efficiency and profitability, improve quality, and increase the knowledge of our staff.

  • Be a subject matter expert and participate in solution innovations activities.

  • Co-author blogs, whitepapers, or presentations.

  • Be able to represent Fujitsu at conferences or other forums.

  • Innovation:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to propose, develop & manage innovative solutions.

  • Support Product Roadmap development ideation of new functionality and harvesting of developments from projects to master org.

  • Deploy new innovations to development logs.

  • Develop marketing & externally facing content to promote innovations.

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Industry experience in the relevant IT/Consulting industry.

  • Must have completed a minimum of 4+ full life-cycle Salesforce implementations demonstrating leading the solution architecture for the implementations.

  • 5+ years of core Salesforce platform experience in the CRM domain solutioning Salesforce applications using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & Commerce domains.

  • Demonstrated Domain knowledge & solution expertise on at least one of the areas:

  • Field Service

  • Experience Cloud

  • CPQ

  • Order Management

  • Demonstrated usage of Salesforce UI / UX designs and expertise to capture implicit and explicit business needs using right fit solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in engagements using Agile & Waterfall models.

  • Undergone Scrum Agile trainings and can quickly onboard & perform on an engagement based on agile delivery models.

  • Have undergone SaFe training and demonstrated working under SaFe delivery model.

  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills utilizing MS tools like PowerPoint, Excel along with written / verbal communications as a mechanism.

  • Demonstrated excellence in presentations which may be internal or client facing for presenting new ideas and solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in performing content creation for Blogs, White Papers and other externally facing collateral.

  • Willingness to travel on client engagements for up to 25%.

  • Willingness to be able to work across time zones with customer & internal teams based in other geographies.

Education / trainings and certifications: -

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience.

  • Required Salesforce Certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Application Architect, Platform App Builder.

  • At least one Salesforce Industry accreditations from this list:

  • Manufacturing Cloud,

  • Consumer Goods, or

  • Energy and Utilities Cloud.

  • At least one Salesforce Product Certification from this list:

  • Salesforce Maps AP Exam

  • Advanced Field Service AP Exam

  • Salesforce CMS AP Exam

  • At least one Salesforce Einstein Certification from this list:

  • CRM Analytics and Einstein Discovery Consultant

  • Einstein Prediction Builder AP Exam

  • Other Salesforce certifications like Advanced Administrator, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Integration Architect, Identity and Access Management Architect will be an advantage.

  • Agile Certified Practitioner will be an advantage.
