Publish papers and assist with grant writing. Essential and Other Functions: 80% Spectroscopic probes of myosin molecular dynamics in muscle *Coordinate and oversee projects involving spectroscopic probes of myosin molecular dynamics including the coordination of experiments, analysis of data, and reporting of the projects. *Direct and supervise undergraduate students. Co-mentor graduate students, direct daily activities in the lab and guide project(s). 20% Presentations, reports, publications, grants *Present work at weekly group meetings and monthly one-on-one meeting with supervisor. *Published papers based on your results. *Assist with grant applications with the goal of obtaining independent funding. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Advanced degree with substantial research and publication record Preferred Qualifications: Advanced experience with myosin and actin biochemistry and cell culture.
