We are seeking a Regional Vice President of Construction to join our team in the North-East Region. The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Construction is responsible for leading and overseeing all construction operations within the designated region. This role involves managing multiple large-scale projects, ensuring quality standards, maintaining budgets, and developing strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The RVP will play a critical role in driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

The Role

  • Oversee all construction projects within the region, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery

  • Develop and manage regional budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded

  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability

  • Manage monthly and annual regional market P&L budgets, providing additional reports and metrics as required to track financial performance

  • Provide top-level customer relationship management, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded throughout the construction process

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major regional clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve organizational goals

  • Enforce company safety standards and promote a safety-first culture across all projects

  • Lead initiatives to improve safety performance and reduce incidents

  • Approve major expenditures and manage cost control measures across all projects

  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms

  • Identify growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

  • Lead and mentor regional teams to foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation

  • Manage project risk, resolve escalated issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers to optimize resource allocation, workflow efficiency, and productivity

  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities

  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment across the region

  • Lead a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and retaining top talent

  • Ensure all regional construction activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field a plus

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects in the telecommunications industry

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel frequently within the region as required, up to 50-75% +/- annually

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities

  • Deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and industry trends

  • Commitment to safety and quality standards

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
