RBC Product Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Product Analyst role, on the SMA/UMA Program team, acts as the primary source of product development, management, and support for internal and third party managed separately managed account products sold throughout the RBC US Wealth Management (WM) and RBC Clearing & Custody distribution channels. The role of Product Analyst adds value to RBC in a highly competitive industry by ensuring the appropriate level of support is available to properly develop and maintain competitive products and navigate a changing regulatory environment. As the Product Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Product Managers in order to drive revenue, ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and support the development and maintenance of competitive platforms. Your key responsibilities will include supporting day to day product management activities, implementation of product development strategies and initiatives, and leading smaller initiatives and projects. What will you do? Support day to day product management activities. Actively contribute to the effort of product management by helping to ensure general platform competitiveness, maintenance and compliance with regulatory requirements. Support delivery of SMA/UMA product development initiatives, including the rollout of new products, services, and policies/procedures or changes to any products, services, or policy/procedures. Lead smaller initiatives and projects. Develop and maintain ad hoc reporting across the supported product lines. Maintain, and coordinate changes to, account opening and maintenance documents and required disclosures, field facing and internal forms and templates. Perform recruit SMA analysis by documenting availability and other SMA details to ensure the successful transition of a recruit's SMA business. Actively support and service FAs by providing SMA/UMA program expertise, education and guidance surrounding features, appropriate usage, and policy/procedure requirements. Assist in the development of marketing and training materials. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Strong analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities. Excellent project management and organizational skills - ability to develop timelines and action items to execute on initiatives. Financial services business knowledge. Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Access, etc. Series 65 securities license (or willingness to get licensed). Nice-to-have BA/BS in business or finance 2+ years securities or financial markets experience. Understanding of fee-based platforms and Financial Advisor needs. What's in it for you?
