PRIVATE AND ENTERTAINMENT BANKING TECH LEADER

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The ideal candidate for the Private and Entertainment Banking Technology Leader role will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of both technology and the unique requirements of the entertainment and private banking sectors. They will possess extensive experience in developing and implementing technology solutions tailored to the needs of clients in these sectors, driving innovation and enhancing client satisfaction.

What you will do

  • As a Private and Entertainment Banking Technology Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving the technological advancements and digital transformation within our Private and Entertainment Banking division.

  • Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of the Private and Entertainment Banking division.

  • Lead the implementation of innovative technology solutions to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and drive growth. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the division remains at the forefront of digital banking.

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technology projects, from conceptualization to deployment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.

  • Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their full potential.

  • Work closely with senior executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with technology initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of technology initiatives. Regularly review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.

  • Prioritize the needs of high-net-worth individuals and entertainment industry clients, ensuring that technology solutions are tailored to provide exceptional service and meet their unique requirements.

  • Efficiently allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and technology assets, to maximize the impact of technology investments and achieve business goals.

  • Represents the Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs, business and industry-related organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate.

  • Fosters and maintains good relationships with colleagues to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels.

  • Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

  • Responsible and accountable for appropriate quality controls related to the financial products the bank provides, the services the bank delivers, the processes employed and the incentives with which colleagues are awarded.

  • In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Private and Entertainment Banking division, leveraging your expertise to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that drive business success and elevate the customer experience.

Must-Have*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years management experience

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Information Services/Technology

Skills and Knowledge

  • 12+ years of proven experience in banking technology leadership roles within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on private and/or entertainment banking.

  • In-depth knowledge of banking systems, digital platforms, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cybersecurity.

  • Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and API integration.

  • Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing technology teams.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.

  • Ability to develop and implement a strategic technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives.

  • Experience in driving digital transformation and innovation within a financial institution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, and external partners.

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to banking technology and data privacy.

  • Deep understanding of the needs and expectations of high-net-worth individuals and entertainment industry clients.

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through technology solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

  • In this role, you will need to combine your technical expertise with strategic vision and strong leadership skills to drive technological advancements and digital transformation within our Private and Entertainment Banking division.

  • Proficiency in technology solutions relevant to the entertainment and private banking sectors, including digital banking platforms, wealth management systems, and client relationship management (CRM) tools.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and blockchain, and their potential applications in entertainment and private banking.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance requirements in the financial industry, ensuring that technology solutions are secure and compliant.

Domain Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry, including media distribution, content production, and digital rights management.

  • Understanding of the unique needs and preferences of high-net-worth individuals and families in the private banking sector, including wealth management, estate planning, and philanthropy.

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that technology solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Leadership and Strategic Skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of leading a team of technologists and collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement technology solutions that drive business growth and client satisfaction.

  • Proven track record of developing innovative technology solutions that differentiate the organization in the entertainment and private banking sectors, enhancing the client experience and driving revenue growth.

  • Strategic thinker, able to anticipate market trends and client needs, and develop technology strategies that position the organization for long-term success.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders, and effectively communicate technology strategies and initiatives.

  • The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of technology expertise and domain knowledge to the role, enabling them to develop and implement technology solutions that meet the specific needs of clients in the entertainment and private banking sectors.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
