Children's Minnesota Minneapolis Clinic is seeking an outpatient pediatrician to join their team. The clinic provides a range of services from well-child care to educational and outreach programs. Providers care for children with complex medical, psychosocial issues, acute and chronic childhood illnesses, developmental, nutritional assessment and guidance, and parent education. The Children's Minneapolis Clinic is a diverse urban outpatient clinic that sees over 20,000 visits annually with 9 physicians and 6 APRNs. Children's offers wrap around services including Integrated Behavior Health providers and access to Adolescent Health and Gender Health providers along with Community Connect. We offer in-clinic support of child life, pharmacy, and interpreter services.There is opportunity to participate in education of medical students. Required Education/License: Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children. *Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. *Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications. *In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices. *Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Respect for patient's confidentiality. *Compassionate and approachable. *Responsible and trustworthy. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
