Fairview Health Services Music Therapist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.00 - $26.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experiences.

The Music Therpaist role asesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates goal-oriented programs for all residents by way of therapeutic music programming. In addition, serves as a resource person for independent leisure pursuits. Enables residents to achieve optimal level of intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual potential with music as the therapeutic medium for our beautiful senior living in Minneapolis, MN.

  • 64 hours every two weeks

  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and conduct programs pertinent to the interests and needs of the individual resident

  • Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medical record documentation and participation

  • Enables residents to achieve optimal level of intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual potential with music as the therapeutic medium

  • Other duties as assigned and directed: Drives bus and ensures resident safety

Required:

  • Board Ceritied Music Therapist (MT-BC)

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or Music Education

  • Drivers license in good standing

  • Profficency in piano or guitar

Preffered:

  • 1-3 years experience
