WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER The Membership Financial Analyst provides highly specialized services to the Global Membership department related to budget and re-projections, forecasting and scenario building, and revenue and expense analysis by country and as a portfolio. They create and provide complex reports and interpretive analysis for leadership in each market.Budget & ProjectionsThe Analyst is accountable for managing the development, tracking, and reporting of the Membership budget/projections. They meet regularly with Global Membership Leadership to develop the annual budget and monthly re-projections for revenue and expenses based on actual results, trends, and strategies. They provide regular and ad hoc reports, as well as analysis and interpretations of results. They respond to complex questions and problems based on advanced knowledge of direct response marketing and the Membership program's strategies, as well as finance procedures. The Analyst is responsible for identifying ways to improve budget and re-projection processes and spearheading initiatives to implement change. They will effectively work with the Analytics team to optimize budget and reporting tools, build out finance data models and look for opportunities for automation.Forecasting and Financial Scenario PlanningThe Analyst develops and overseas the five- and ten- year forecasting for each country in collaboration with the Analytics team and each country's Membership Lead. They are responsible for building and guiding the financial scenario planning for current markets within the Global Membership Program and for new markets to be launched.Finance ResponsibilitiesThey administer and maintain finance activities in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial/organizational management. They are responsible for completing and organizing a diverse range of tasks and activities in support of financial management of the Global Membership department, including posting of revenue, processing expenses, intra-company transfers, and other GL and accounting transactions. The Analyst provides information to the Directors of Finance & Operations (DFO) for Membership and each country for development of budgets and financial reporting.General ResponsibilitiesThey are an expert in the systems and data models used by Global Membership and Finance, as well as the revenue and expense processes of each country's membership program. They understand the financ systems, revenue management in the database of record, Global Membership reporting systems, and the interactions and data relationships between systems. They respond to requests for information from across the organization. They provide advice, recommendations, and training related to Membership finances. may take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team, including, but not limited to spearheading training initiatives, developing documentation, providing support on invoicing, and developing reports for regulatory filings. The Analyst keeps up-to-date on best practices in order to improve services. They examine situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions to improve effectiveness. They will modify processes and practices based on an expert understanding of related policies and procedures. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 4 years' related experience or equivalent combination. Experience with relational databases. Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems. Experience designing and generating reports. Experience analyzing and interpreting data. Experience working with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience working across cultures and countries. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced expertise, including complex pivot tables and advanced formulas, in Microsoft Excel. SALARY INFORMATION The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $73,400-$108,100 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
