Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Wealth Investment Management Technology (WIMT’s) is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with primary responsibilities such as Subject Matter Expert – Acts as an expert technical resource for Domain Driven Design, web services design patterns, Cloud development, CI/CD and hands on implementation. Ensuring all development and implementation activities follow technical process for compliance purposes. Provides strategic leadership for assigned product area and provides direction and guidance to less experienced team members. The candidate will be working in an Agile and collaborative environment. Candidate will work with Product Owners, Application Architects and business functional leaders to design and implement web services using various technologies, tools following industry best practices. Hands on programming, unit testing and building secure, high quality web services that are manageable, reliable, and scalable. Participates in code reviews, design reviews and refactoring discussions with multiple domain and delivery teams to ensure high quality deliverable, aligned with standards and best practices. Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

7 years of web development experience;

5 years of Java experience;

5 years of web applications experience; and

5 years of database experience.
