Deluxe Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Responsible for billing and account resolution activities on customer accounts, including the review of work performed in a remote location. The Lead Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for defining, documenting, training and implementing new processes for billing functions within multiple systems and in multiple currencies.

• Perform complex billing activities on a monthly basis. Analyze month end customer billing details, follow detailed procedures to modify customer billing in Excel and create accurate customer facing invoices using a variety of templates. Create manual invoices upon request.

• Analyzes unapplied payments to determine the appropriate action, collaborating with internal and external customers for accurate resolution.

• Assists with projects, including SOX testing, customer onboarding, integrating newly acquired companies into standard processes, and IT developments/enhancements. Provides backup for multiple departmental processes

• Oversee the offshore team as it relates to customer invoicing and processes. Provide training on customer invoicing and new processes as needed. Ensure process documentation for the offshore team reflects the current state.

• Partner with the sales team and leader to define billing requirements as new customer contracts are established. Identify opportunities to automate billing transactions.

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors and 2 years experience or HS/GED and 6 years experience in accounts receivable and billing.

Experience in cash application processing.

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Knowledge of vendor portal processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: 4 years in an accounts receivable experience in a mid-size organization. Strong systems acumen including ERP knowledge.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Strong communication skills.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
