Robert Half HR Coordinator in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description We are in search of an HR Coordinator to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role provides an opportunity for a long-term contract. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks, providing clerical support to the HR department and employees, and handling HR-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures.
Responsibilities: • Handle incoming calls from employees with questions regarding payroll and benefits • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee database records • Provide clerical support to the HR department, aiding in the smooth operation of HR-related activities • Assist in planning and executing new employee orientation meetings • Utilize online resources to identify potential customers and expand our client base • Leverage HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems for efficient management of HR tasks • Facilitate employee relations and handle eligibility verification • Deal with customer inquiries, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with social media recruiting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS systems experience will be a plus.
• In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities.
• Familiarity with labor legislation.
• Experience in designing compensation and benefits packages.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop clear and fair company policies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of Employment Verifications and Eligibility Verification.
• Experience in Employee Relations.
• Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems is a plus.
• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc).
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc).
• Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools.
