Sherwin-Williams Co. Financial Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager - General Industrial division with business analysis and reporting to aid in strategic decision making throughout the organization relative to sales growth and profit improvement. Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include the following: Provide direct financial support to the N.A. Management team including ad-hoc reporting, P&L's, support rebate and account credits, budgeting, e-Accounting, On-Base reporting, incentive tracking, compensation reporting and all other financial needs. Analysis of financial information, and development of reports to identify and improve issues negatively impacting sales and margins for the General Industrial Division. Provide analytical support by identifying trends, and suggest strategies to aid management in decision making. Preparation of proformas for the general Industrial organization (North America and Global) in support of new and renewing business opportunities. Provide financial support for new and lost business tracking. Market segment reporting and support Marketing CAC needs. Ensure the quality integrity and accuracy of Division financial goals and results, including monthly reporting. Preparation of month end, and ad-hoc reporting as requested. Support Working Capital Management and Division COPQ reduction goals Support Annual Operating Plan and Sales Rep budgets preparation and development. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: 4 year degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar business related discipline KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 4+ years finance/accounting experience Preferred: Performance Coatings Group knowledge and experience TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Proficient in MS Office Proficient with Micro-strategy Experience with Onbase Preferred: Familiarity with On-base and Oracle Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
