The position will be responsible for providing a variety of financial support services to the multiple Program areas and initiatives of CTSI. Essential Functions or Job Duties Financial analysis, management, and reporting (25%) Facilitate pilot project awards made throughout CTSI. Work with CTSI program areas and awardees in setting up chart strings, contracting with external vendors, monitoring balances, and closing out awards. Manage Internal Sales process for two program areas of CTSI including investigating and correcting invoice issues and participating in rate reviews. Maintain department contracts for the Biostatistical Design and Analysis Center (BDAC) of CTSI. Work with contracted departments across the Medical School on contract projected costs and transfers of contract funds. Prepare financial data to be used in reports to departments in regards to Department Contract usage. Financial transaction review and reconciliation (45%) Review and approve payroll abstracts Set up payroll distributions and complete adjusting/correcting payroll transactions. Facilitate the distribution and submission of effort statements for effort certification. Initiate payment requests and requisition requests. Approve financial transactions in Enterprise Financial System. Track computer inventory and oversee computer loaner pool. Advise staff on financial procedures and answer staff financial related questions. Maintain CTSI department chart strings and record monthly balances. Monitor department email account. Clinical Trial Financial Services (CTFS) support (25%) Data retrieval, data reconciliation, and data entry in support of CTFS post award team of CTSI utilizing financial systems and clinical trials management system. Other duties as assigned (5%) Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and two years professional work experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal six years. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to communicate financial data to a non-financial audience. Familiarity with University's Enterprise Resource Planning system or other ERP systems.
