Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.

As part of the Corporate FP&A team you will be responsible for preparing reporting and analyses to help management understand company financial performance and support decision making.

Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Analyst within the Forecasting and Budgeting team.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in developing and coordinating financial forecasts

  • Partner with line of business/function Finance, Expense Analytics and Allocations, Treasury and other groups

  • Coordinate Budget Transfer Process

  • Analyze business performance and prepare variance explanations

  • Develop and execute effective internal controls

  • Special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Required Qualifications, International:

  • Experience in Finance or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting

  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

  • Essbase and/or SmartView experience

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Financial analysis and forecasting knowledge and experience

  • Ability to prepare management level presentations

  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership

  • Project management experience
