Description

We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Minnesota. The primary role of the Event Coordinator will entail organizing and strategizing for scheduled events, managing booth bookings and layouts, coordinating with sales leads, and executing marketing support. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize and execute plans for scheduled events.

• Manage booth bookings, including planning layouts and compiling venue information.

• Determine booth requirements based on venue information.

• Place orders for booth needs such as electricity, furnishings, carpet, LEAD retrieval etc.

• Coordinate the shipping of booth materials and giveaways.

• Collaborate with sales leads to align event expectations.

• Maintain a detailed account of orders, invoices, and receipts.

• Input expenses into the budget.

• Execute marketing support through platforms such as emails and social media.

• Advertise events to increase visibility and participation.

Requirements • Possess demonstrable skills and experience in ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge and proficiency in BeOS

• Experience in using Chef for configuration management

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Demonstrable skills in Crystal Reports for business intelligence

• Familiarity with About Time for project management

• Proven experience in managing budget processes

• Proficient in managing calendars and scheduling events

• Experience in catering and managing food arrangements for events
